It seems as though the people at SNL have fully embraced the viral video potential of their digital shorts. The budget on this one can't be matched by anyone I can think of (not even Funny or Die).

So many people probably think of T-pain as top-40 crap. As an artist who's one cameo away from making you want to kill yourself. His auto-tuner needs to be retired and he needs to cut that hair. And, of course, we all wonder if he wears the sunglasses because his eyes are screwed up like Lil John's.
But stop hating long enough to see his two most recent videos. Even if you hate his robotic brand of R&B, even if you think he's gone the wrong direction with the circus schtick, even if you think his misogynistic, materialistic, shallow music is the embodiment of everything that's wrong with our culture....you'll have to admit his videos feature a creativity that is fresh and exciting. Personally, I'm still undecided on T-Pain, but these videos blow my mind.

It's my boys! Geovany Soto, Ryan Dempster, Mike Fontenot, Ryan Theriot, and Mark De Rosa all star in this video.
Thursday was a tough day to turn on the TV and find the cubs down by a handfull of runs late in the game. I flipped back and forth to Jeopardy a few times because I just couldn't stand to look.
Then that stupid Cubs optimism kicked in and I thought, "if I can't support them now..." so I flipped it back to Comcast Sportsnet. A couple quick outs, an error between Braun's legs, a couple more hits, then this...
Though they were destroyed by the Cards yesterday, it really doesn't matter. The magic number is now ONE thanks to a Brewers loss.
Here are some Cubs anthems I came across. One by the leader of a multi-platinum selling band, the other some YouTube no-name, I'll leave the reviews to you.
Go Cubs.
For those of you who don't know, Shawty Lo and T.I. have been feuding over the last year about a number of issues including street cred and "who's real-er." There have been so many pointless and petty videos put out by both rappers that show them actually going into Bankhead and proving their authenticity that it would be pointless to link to them.
Either way, T.I. has now released the latest video for his upcoming album "Paper Trail." This video and song features Tip and his people mocking and lyrically destroying Shawty Lo. It's funny and brutal and definitely puts a "W" in the win column for him.
If all of the leaked songs and singles are any indicator, I firmly believe that it will even be better than "King." It'll be like (worst thought-out concept album ever) T.I. vs TIP never happened!
